Inside will also come dual 12.3-inch screens equipped with the most up-to-date operating system.
Kia’s modern “opposites united” design language will be featured prominently on the Sportage 2025, with its current boomerang-shaped daytime running lights being replaced by vertical’star map’ modules for greater dominance at the front end and to differentiate it from its Hyundai Tucson twin under the skin.
Safety
Kia has implemented cutting-edge safety technologies into the Sportage to keep drivers and passengers secure. Standard features of forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear parking sensors and forward parking sensors are included as standard on each model; in the EX trim level additional driver attention monitor and safe exit warning are added; with SX Prestige models offering Lane Departure Warning (LDW), surround view camera and Kia’s Highway Driving Assist system which combines adaptive cruise control with lane keeping assist for less stressful highway cruising combining adaptive cruise control with adaptive cruise control/lane keeping assist combining adaptive cruise control/lane keeping assist so drivers and passengers remain protected during highway cruising.
Kia’s facelift brings more than standard safety features; it also upgrades both exterior and interior aspects of their car. Technology
Kia’s 2025 Sportage should receive significant technological enhancements that bring it more in line with Hyundai Tucson and Sorento models, including forward collision avoidance systems with pedestrian detection as well as lane keep assist, which currently come as optional features on select models.
Expect the new Sportage facelift to offer both front- and all-wheel drive configurations, and provide choices of petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrains depending on where it is sold. Its flagship hybrid variant combines a petrol engine with two electric motors to produce a respectable 169kW/258Nm of power via six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive configuration.
Other features available on this model include smart cruise control that can accelerate, decelerate, and stop in traffic jams; while a surround-view monitor helps ensure you stay in your lane on highways. Furthermore, its cabin can be enhanced further with features like memory settings on power driver seat; front and rear USB-C charging ports; dual zone climate control; as well as powered day/night rearview mirrors – further adding to its appeal.
Interior
Kia’s interior design is one of its strengths, with the Sportage featuring an intuitive and user-friendly layout. While some may not prefer its touch screen iconography, Kia has included plenty of useful physical buttons as an added layer.
The cabin should retain the same front-wheel drive/all-wheel drive setup, featuring two 12.3-inch screens to split driver instrumentation from infotainment functions (which will now use Hyundai’s ccNC operating system). Head-up displays should come standard across variants while top trims will receive intelligent speed limit assist as an added feature.
This feature will sound an audible warning when an SUV approaches or exceeds a preset speed limit, giving drivers ample warning to deactivate it through voice command or steering wheel mute button. Furthermore, this function detects when vehicles are lane centring to improve semi-autonomous driving capabilities on highways.
